Virtual Registration and Photo Submission

DEADLINE: FEBRUARY 25, 2022; 12:00PM EST. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Categories and Rules

1. All entries must have been made in the last 6 months.

2. Limit to only one entry per category.

3. No store bought items embellished or decorated.

4. Entries must be Seminole made.

5. Deadline for entries is, Tuesday, February 25, 2022 at 12:00pm EST.

6. The Culture Department is not responsible for entries not picked up three weeks after event.

7. Entries that do not comply with the rules will be disqualified.

8. All prizes are subject to taxation.

9. (Female ONLY) Seminole Dolls. Body and Head must be made of Palmetto Fiber.

10. (Female ONLY) Baskets. Diameter must be a minimum of 4”, no minimum height. Basket bottoms must be made of palmetto fiber ONLY. No decorated and/or embellished store bought items. Baskets must be solely made of sweet grass, palmetto fiber, and embroidery thread. I.E. fabric bottoms, patchwork bottoms, beadwork, felt, modified sweet grass, and decorations.

11. (Male ONLY) Woodcarving. Traditional hand carved items. I.E. no leather, metal, bone, rope, etc.

12. Seminole Patchwork Design must be a minimum of 4 yards.

13. Beadwork: Adults entries no single strand necklaces and loom bracelets must be at least 5 beads wide (NO Medallions).

14. Self Made Clothing with Patchwork: Entry entered must be self-made (which means entry must have been sewn from start to finish by person entering contest). IE: Patchwork to finished product. *The entry must be new and never worn*

15. Entries entered into 2022 Tribal Fair Arts & Crafts Contest cannot be used in any other 2022 Tribal Fair Contest.

16. Please note: One form per contestant for all entries submitted for Arts & Crafts Contest.

17. Absolutely no late entries will be accepted.
